Smart home guidelines

Access to this standard has been sponsored by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), who identified the importance of enabling non-technical audiences and the public to access a PDF copy of the publicly available specification online at no charge.

Standard (PAS) is intended to guide electricity consumers, publicly facing businesses, and suppliers of Smart Home equipment and services, to adopt a best practice approach on their journey to a New Zealand network of Smart Homes. It is designed to become a single touch point document, where all relevant general Smart Home information is contained, and will also provide signposts to more detailed information.
