Specification for the tapping of holes to receive wire thread inserts (ISO metric threads)
Specifies limits of sizes for tapped holes to accommodate wire to provide ISO metric thread sizes from M2 to M39 diameter inclusive. Recommends screwing taps and also a gauging system for checking the tapped holes.
