Specifies electrical safety requirements, to be read in conjunction with NZS 6200. Applies to low voltage appliances designed for use in the preparation of solid or liquid food by mixing, beating, mincing, grinding, slicing, extraction or separation of juice, or other similar processes; also to can openers and knife sharpeners.
