Approval and test specification - Electric lawnmowers
Specifies electrical safety requirements, to be read in conjunction with NZS 6200. Applies to appliances which incorporate an electric motor to operate cutters or blades for use in lawn mowing and edge trimming, including self-propelling types, for operation at low or medium voltage. Also prescribes basic mechanical guarding. Does not apply to cord-line trimmers (see AS/NZS 3160). Approved electrical safety Standard.
