Water supply
Deals with the supply of water to houses, schools, offices, public buildings and industrial buildings; the scope extends from the source of supply to the point where the water is drawn off for use. In addition to the statutory water undertakings, other sources of supply such as wells, springs, rivers, ponds and lakes are discussed. Also covers water treatment; distribution; storage; installation of all parts of the water system; inspection, testing and maintenance. An appendix and four figures deal wi th pipe sizing.
