Manual, semi-automatic and mechanized arc welding of butt joints, branches, fillet welds and socket joints in carbon, carbon manganese and low alloy steel pipelines. Approval and testing of welding procedures and welders, production welding, inspection and testing, acceptance and rectification. Appendices give additional guidance, including on hyperbaric welding.
