Specification for industrial methylated spirits
Specifies requirements for residue on evaporation, miscibility with water, alkalinity or acidity, aldehyde and ketone content in relation to industrial methylated spirits of strength between the limits 60 and 74 degrees O.P. Methods of test are given and in addition there is a table showing the relation between degrees over proof, specific gravity in air and approximate total alcohols content.
