Sockets for embedding in concrete or brickwork, screw-in hooks and screw-in eyes for use during periods of maintenance or inspection, cappings for protection of sockets between such periods, stepirons to provide permanent foot steps or hand holds. Tests, inspection, materials, workmanship, design, construction, dimensions, anchorage, examination, greasing. Methods of use including arrangement of sockets for two systems of steeplejacks' laddering and for various lengths of ladder.
