Specification for plugs and socket-outlets
Closely aligned with AS 3112, this specification covers plugs and socket-outlets intended for use at extra low, low or medium voltages, for household and similar purposes, and in particular the 2-pin flat-pin plug, and 3-pin flat-pin plug and socket-outlet system used in New Zealand. Contains dimensions, constructional requirements and tests for interchangeability and electrical safety. Note : Will be withdrawn in October 1994 and superseded by AS/NZS 3112:1993.
