Concrete construction

The Building System Performance branch of MBIE has sponsored access to view and print a single downloadable PDF copy of this supplement at no charge. Standards New Zealand also offers this supplement to be purchased as Hard Copy or Online Library subscription.

This standard sets out recognised practice for concrete work in New Zealand construction. Its content includes reinforcement installation, formwork, embedded items, and the placing, finishing and curing of the concrete. It provides minimum requirements for the construction of reinforced concrete, unreinforced concrete, prestressed concrete or a combination, in elements of any building or civil engineering structure. Concrete placers, reinforcing steel fixers, and builders, designers and engineers who work with concrete structures will find this useful.
