Specification for flexible PVC compounds

Specifies requirements for three classes of compounds each being subdivided into a number of different types and covers the following properties and lays down methods of test. Colour fastness to daylight. Colour bleeding. Appearance. Elongation after heating. Tensile strength. Elongation at break. Volume resistivity at 23°C. Effect on polythene. Softness. Cold bend temperature. Cold flex temperature before ageing. Cold flex temperature after ageing. Deformation under heat. Volume resistivity at 60°C. Electric strength at 23°C. Loss on heating. Water absorption. Water soluble matter.
