Fuel containers - Portable - Plastics and metal

Specifies material, design, properties (including test methods) and marking requirements for refillable portable petroleum-product fuel containers made of metal or plastics, and of capacity up to and including 25 litres. It applies to containers for the storage and transport of fuel, and fuel tanks for boats. The containers are suitable for use with unleaded, leaded and super grades of petrol, two-stroke engine fuel and kerosene, but are excluded from use with racing fuels unless specifically approved by the manufacturer.
